The campsite at Lake Affoldern in Hesse is known as one of the region’s most attractive camping destinations. To offer guests something beyond a pitch, the operator chose characterful witch-house cabins from TimberTeam: small timber houses with crooked roofs, natural untreated wood and a hand-built feel that guests photograph and remember.
The cabins were manufactured in Lithuania as pre-cut kits and delivered to the site. The project attracted national attention: ARD showed the cabins in its programme on unusual caravans and campers, and RTL, BILD and the Wildunger Zeitung reported on the sustainable timber accommodation at the lake. The number of units and the installation scope are shared on request.
